About Me
Zoe Mittman, LCSW
Zoe Rose Therapy was created with the belief that effective therapy should feel both compassionate and empowering. The intention of this practice is to provide care that helps you feel understood, supported, and capable of creating meaningful change in your life.
Zoe Rose Therapy is:
- Collaborative and client-centered
- Grounded in evidence-based approaches
- Structured while remaining flexible
- Focused on building practical, sustainable skills
- Tailored to your unique needs, goals, and values
My clinical work has allowed me to support individuals navigating anxiety, OCD, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Over time, I’ve seen how exhausting it can be to live with constant worry, intrusive thoughts, or the pressure to have everything figured out. These experiences have shaped my approach to therapy and continue to inform how I work with clients today.
In my work, I aim to provide:
- A warm, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment
- Clear structure and direction when it’s helpful
- Collaboration rather than a one-size-fits-all approach
- Honest, compassionate feedback
- Support that encourages both insight and action
I believe therapy is not about fixing something that’s “wrong” with you, but about helping you better understand yourself and develop tools that allow you to navigate life with more confidence and ease.
My therapeutic approach emphasizes:
- Understanding patterns that contribute to distress
- Building practical, skills-based tools for everyday life
- Increasing emotional awareness and insight
- Supporting values-based decision-making
- Encouraging gradual, meaningful change at a manageable pace
In sessions, we focus on identifying what’s keeping you stuck and developing strategies that feel both effective and realistic. I place a strong emphasis on helping clients practice skills outside of therapy while also allowing space for reflection, curiosity, and emotional processing.
Therapy with me is active and intentional, but always grounded in compassion. We move forward together in a way that feels challenging yet supportive, with your goals, values, and comfort level guiding the process.
I specialize in working with teens and adults who are experiencing:
- Anxiety and chronic worry
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Relationship challenges and recurring patterns
- Life Transitions and periods of uncertainty
- Emotional overwhelm and stress
Clients often come to therapy feeling stuck, discouraged, or unsure of how to make changes that last. My role is to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and feel more confident navigating both internal and external challenges.
Clients often describe my style as warm, supportive, and direct when needed. I value honesty, curiosity, and collaboration, and I believe therapy works best when you feel respected and understood.
You can expect therapy to be a space where your experiences are taken seriously and your goals are prioritized. We’ll work together to create a plan that feels realistic, meaningful, and sustainable, adjusting as your needs evolve.
All sessions are offered virtually, providing flexibility, consistency, and privacy while allowing you to access therapy from wherever you feel most comfortable.
