Zoe Mittman, LCSW

Licensed in Illinois, New York, New Jersey and Florida. All sessions are offered via secure telehealth

Hi, I’m Zoe Mittman, LCSW, and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the heart behind Zoe Rose Therapy, where I provide compassionate, evidence-based online therapy for teens (starting at age 12) and young adults in their 20s and 30s.

My work focuses on helping people navigate anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), relationship challenges and major life transitions. I specialize in treating OCD using evidence-based approaches, including Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Through our work together, you can learn how to build tolerance for uncertainty, reduce compulsive behaviors, and reconnect with the life you want to live. I offer secure online therapy to clients in Illinois (including the Chicago area), New York, New Jersey and Florida, making support more accessible.

I grew up in New York and then headed to the University of Michigan, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my Master’s in Social Work. Since then, I’ve built my clinical experience working as both a school social worker and in private practice in Chicago and New Jersey. I’m now back in Chicago, continuing the work I love and supporting clients who want to feel more grounded, understood and empowered to move forward.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, thoughtful and paced with care. You’ll never be pushed into anything you’re not ready for. Instead, we’ll work together to create a plan that feels respectful, supportive and aligned with your values, even when growth requires sitting with the discomfort.

Outside of sessions, you’ll usually find me at Solidcore for a workout, walking my sweet dog Mordy, exploring new restaurants or planning my next trip. What truly recharges me is time spent with family and friends. It reminds me why balance, connection and joy matter so much, and those are the values I bring to every session with my clients. If you’re wondering whether therapy, or ERP for OCD might be a good fit, I’d love to connect and support you on your journey.
